Diane Leighton, MBA

Diane serves as Director of Planning & Operations at Pendleton Financial, overseeing day-to-day operations while supporting client onboarding, planning, and service. With a background in private equity and hospitality, Diane brings a blend of strategic thinking, client care, and steady organization to every part of the firm’s work.

Support includes financial planning tasks such as retirement income strategies, research, documentation, and follow-up — helping each client feel seen, supported, and well cared for. Diane also coordinates client events and nurtures a culture of warmth and responsiveness.

Diane holds an MBA from Johns Hopkins University. Outside of work, her time is often spent in Cary with husband Dan cheering on their two sons at baseball games. A lifelong Orioles fan, Diane never misses a chance to root for her favorite team.
